Each year, the Music Cities of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network gather together to coordinate our work and to develop strategies for collective impact at a global scale. These meetings are hosted by one of the UNESCO Cities of Music. In 2024, the cities met in London, Canada for a meeting hosted by the City of London’s Music Office.
Each annual meeting provides opportunities to learn how a specific UNESCO CIty of Music is implementing their programs at the local level – including how they approach the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. Each year a group of cities gather together to discuss the progress of the Music Subnetwork, developing programs, and finding inspiration in our creative solidarity.
