Poland 2018
Kansas City’s first annual meeting was held in June 2018 by the Host Cities of Krakow (Literature 2013) and Katowice (Music) in Poland. The conference was very well attended and well-organized. Delegates from the UCCN Cities visited both cities – starting in Krakow with a robust program including poet Tyehimba Jess.

Italy 2019
Our second annual meeting was held in Fabriano, Italy – a UNESCO Creative City of Crafts and Folk Art, which is well-known for its traditional paper-making industries, historic churches and buildings.
In addition to meeting in Fabriano, the Italian Cities of UNESCO organized a mobile tour to nearby cities. The delegates attending from Music Cities visited Pesaro, Italy – a UNESCO City of Music since 2017.
In Pesaro, delegates were treated to a tour of the newly opened Rossini Museum.
